In order to carry out the A/B Testing, it was necessary to define the options to present to the user, in which they could be tested the preferred design between icon and position options in the Classic interface using, and Identify user journey improvements. These options were prototyped and delivered to the research team to be tested.
Option A: It utilizes an icon button that features a brand logo and indicates movement with arrows. It lacks a text description and is positioned at the end of the navigation bar. Option B: It uses an abstract icon followed by a text description. The button was located near the configuration button, at the end of the navigation bar.
Option B was the winner!! This option solved most of the user pains in terms of user redirection toward the success scenario. Also, the user journey was clearer because the density of clicks was focused on the interaction areas such as the banner and Switch button.
